The event brought together more than 40 participants from over 20 organizations across all nine countries of the Balkan Green Belt. This key regional gathering served as a platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and strengthening collaboration within both the BESTbelt initiative and the broader European Green Belt community.

For TEAM, the conference offered a valuable opportunity to engage with current and former BESTbelt grant recipients, explore successful models of biodiversity conservation, and gain insights into funding opportunities and future project development.

Through interactive sessions and working groups, TEAM contributed to discussions by sharing innovative practices in nature conservation, community involvement, and the application of nature-based solutions for sustainable regional development.

Participation in the conference also enabled TEAM to forge new partnerships with organizations and institutions throughout the Balkans, laying the groundwork for future cross-border collaboration and joint initiatives.

By taking part in the BESTbelt Balkan Regional Conference, TEAM has reinforced its role in regional environmental cooperation and strengthened its capacity to support the conservation and sustainable development objectives of the Balkan Green Belt.
